6.3 Signalling the AVS version used in CDM

To signal the specific AVS version number that is being used in a message created in accordance with the various parts of the CDM standard, the second string of the MessageVersion Cell in the CDMH Record shall be set to the version number of the AVS that the sender of the messages has used for creating the message.

If, for example, a message has been created in accordance with Part 1 (Architecture) in version 1.0 and Part 2 (Record Types) in version 1.0.1 of the CDM standard and using the allowed value sets in version 4, the MessageVersion Cell in the CDMH Record shall contain the string cdm/1.0/4/1.0.1.
